Jim Dick Midfield (00-01)
When Boston United manager Steve Evans signed up fellow Scot Jim Dick from
Airdrieonians in the close season, he described him as being the "best
midfielder in the Conference". As the season progressed, that tag became
somewhat of a burden and was used as a taunt following any poor pass or
mistimed tackle. He missed many matches in his first season for being
suspended - most of his 12 bookings being picked up for dissent. Previously
with Ayr United and St. Mirren. Debut: 26th July 2000 vs Scunthorpe
United (H), Lincs Senior Cup. Born 21/6/1974 in Bellshill, Strathclyde.
