Steve Appleby Midfield (94-99) Local lad Steve joined his home town club in the 1994-95 after previously playing in the Conference for Kettering Town and captaining UCL side Bourne Town. Whilst a schoolboy, he played for Wyberton Colts, for whom he scored 100 goals, including 10 in one match. Voted "Player of the Year" in his first season with the Pilgrims and again in 97/8 and named "Player's Player of the Year" in 95/96. A big favourite with the fans who appreciated his non-stop efforts. Later played for Wyberton, Holbeach and Spalding United. Born 24/5/1967.
