Season tickets/new stand
« on: May 29, 2024, 09:38:46 AM »
754 sold so far. How’s that compare to last seasons total?

£3.2m Government grant confirmed towards new stand/community facilities? Any updates?

Think we had about 700 total last year
Would like to think we'll get 1000+ and then for every Saturday game get enough walkups to hit 2,000

700 ish figure was mentioned when the Brackley tickets came out with season ticket holders getting priority.

Grant is fantastic news. Will be great to see the stadium finished. I imagine that explains the lack of news coming out of the club, I suspect the office staff have had their hands full sorting out the grant for the stadium.

The grant was submitted a fair while back - they were just waiting for the outcome.

Honestly, I think the lack of news is probably down to more mundane reasons: holidays, for starters, and players looking around for better deals elsewhere - which is only fair!

Any idea what the total is now?
I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.

They'd have 901 if I could get a buyer for my house!

Moving just when there are some fixtures scheduled within 100 miles of deepest sussex appears to be bad timing.

Typical isn't it, years of long journeys then they all come to you at once ::)

I've found a very cheap route into London from Exeter via Yeovil Junction and Salisbury - so I'm hoping to get to more aways this year than I've ever managed before when I lived in Nottingham!

I've done that route to get to Sherbourne before - that's gonna be a lot of train tinnies...

I also used that route during my first job (at a boarding school) in the early 1980s. The nearest station was Axminster. In those days the last train from London was rather early.

It's twenty minutes longer than the GWR route... but half the price!
