let's hope the same post applies in mid April!
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

According to Duncan's Standard twitter my statement above is incorrect .

A 2 goal win by my reckoning will give Pilgrims a superior goal difference
According to Duncan Pilgrims need a 4 -1 to go above Spennymoor .
Where has my calculation gone wrong .?

A 2-0 win would put both teams on 9 points and goal difference of + 1 but Boston would have scored 1 more goal.

...and both teams would be below Tamworth who would move up a place.

So we need a 2-goal victory to go above Spennymoor, but a 3 goal victory scoring at least 4 goals to go into 7th?

Beaten by the better team, concede just before half time when we weren't playing well, come out second half and play better when we went to a back three, didn't put away any of our half chances and conceded twice on the counter. Not a good day but for some perspective we aren't gonna win the league and we're not gonna get relegated, onto Saturday now and hopefully a better result.

Totally agree .got totally outplayed by a fitter better football team we were lucky it wasn't a lot more .no point in slagging the team of they just weren't as good as spennymore were.it was interesting to hear Alan white say to me does your manager always take his best player off meaning vinno and leave the number 8 on .I had to reply yes but what do I know about football I just thought you gave everyone a chance to proove themselves and if they played well you play them but obviously not.he did say he enjoyed his time here though which was good to hear

I thought we were decent for much of the game against one of the best sides I've seen at York street for a long while.
We had periods where we dug in and defended well as they threw everything at us.
This is a big plus point as in the 1st half last seasons team would have buckled many times.
We then gave it a real go in the second half and we're done against the run of play.
I would however like to see Hemmings involved more and us using width more in our play as he has real talent.
Had we made it 1.1 it could have been a different story.

Decent? we were crap. Pointless me saying what I feel about Chapman as obviously in the managers eyes he can do no wrong GET RID! Little quick players running at a defence that looked as though they were going to have a mass nervous breakdown. Not good enough carry on like this the support will wither.

I understand this Vince getting subbed is annoying but for me it made sense, you're playing a big physical team and bringing on Broadhead gave us more height which helped and I get Chapman isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's Murray's captain. End of. You can't expect him to sub him solely because of that, he's that experienced head he wants on the pitch, he may make mistakes and annoy people but he adds something to a young midfield and is always vocal (sometimes not in the best way).
