tell you that at 5pm tomorrow! Based on results alone, Ilkeston have shipped plenty of goals this season, and sit 21st of 24 teams in the NPL, 18 points from 20 games, so I presume he's been getting plenty of action each week!

Two new players in so far, but what chance do we have today of a result ?

We still have the same set of players who until today, have not seemed up to the required standard minus a few. Let's remember that several people had stated that these players were not worthy of the shirt and should bugger off, so are they going to be right in giving them another chance, or come 5 will we be back to the gripes and groans.  Let's hope for a win, it's going to be a tough one !  For those going, get behind them and even if we go behind keep the noise a rocking !!!

I'm one fan who has stated that most don't have enough quality or effort to wear the shirt, but like you say, let's hope a new start with a new manager and new attitudes on the field start to make the foundations of a recovery. Sure, we are not going to change into a top half team overnight, so expectations have to be realistic. I'd settle for a more solid performance, less gaps in defense, more effort on the field, and players who look like they want to play for the shirt, rather than going through the motions just for the pay cheque. Draw away today wouldn't be the worst result by 5pm, so, as you say, let's get behind them.

Spalding fans who i know said he was ok, so we'll have to see.He played central midfield for them.  Let's hope he'll be one of those players who can make the step up to this level. Would still like to see us sign a couple of proven CN players though to steady the ship. Gatter's had a bit of a career threatening heart issue, which looks like he is over now - http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/burton-albion-defender-charlie-gatter-signed-pro-contract-after-being-told-he-may-not-play-again/story-29410705-detail/story.html

good news to hear, and, yes, a good start for the new regime. Solid point away from home. Onwards and upwards from here.....
