couldn't see anything, but could see that we were a shambles????     doesn't add up.... :-\

Reading the comments it does add up to me ,    The fog reduced vision to about half the pitch , this is what he commented on ,   the far end of the pitch would be out of vision .

I went to the same match Ted and had to buy the Nottingham Football Post on the way home to find out the score  ;)

We were watching the half Boston were attacking. No chances to score and losing 1-0 to a team two leagues lower adds up to a shambles to me.

You can't give a summary of something you can't see.

Plenty of people do that on here/Facebook after a defeat they didn't attend

I sat near the half way line and could see both ends all be it not too clearly, my take on us this season is as follows, we have some very talented individuals but a very poor team. As Mel said the game should never have started but I would say the ref would have been under pressure to get it on. That said when we left the bar and went out to the pitch after half time the fog was no worse than the first half. Needless to say they won't be getting any more of my dosh on Tuesday :bunny.

Visibility is for officials as well as players. Could the linesman see the other touchline? If not, he cannot give offside confidently...

Just had a look on Witton website to see if it would be free entry but doesn't look like it?

They do however want volunteers for the Snack Bar if anyone is interested.

It won't be, it's an FA Competition tie, where revenue is shared and costs deducted from the gate receipts. If it was free entry, Witton would essentially be paying for half of our travel costs (earning nothing from the gate), plus they'd have other matchday expenses to cover.

Thought it might be reduced entry, but with the lack of time between the games I guess nothing has been agreed.

Sometimes it is sometimes it isn't. At Witton Albion it isn't. Their pitch dimensions are 100m long by 70m wide, so the distance between the sidelines is70m and is longer than the distance from halfway line to goals (50m).
