Do you think this is the striker the managers have been talking about for a couple of weeks ? I thought it might be someone more high profile / prolific ?

The Standard article about Danny Sleath today mentioned that the new striker probably wouldn't be coming until next week.

No harm having a youngster as back up,  but as we've seen with Burrow and Mulready, a teenager from a higher division will struggle to make an impact in a physical league like BSN

Scored 2 in 5 games for Hinkley. Also scored a couple for posh youth last week. If he's scoring goals and has a bit of pace he's exactly what we need.

2 in 5 including a stint in goal.  Thats a better ratio than what we currently have.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

No. Personally I think that's the striker to come in next week. I agree though that younger players from higher up tend to struggle with the physical nature of this league, like Nathan Korantang. Having said that Ben Milnes is now getting to grips with this side so it can be done.

Seeing as how it's a bit quiet on here let's see if we can get the rumour mill going on the new striker that's supposed to be coming in this week. I'll start it off with Darryn Stamp from Grimity.
