LBC, thats a bold statement given Mickey Stones started up front for us this season..........I wonder if those who made a case for him then are quite so 'on message' now?

FWIW I think he's right up there with the shockers like Willie Gamble, Gabrielli, Gary Porter, McSporran and the entire squad of 2008/09.

Ah but in Stones case, there is effort and an amount of threat to the opposition.  Anyone that made the trip to Whitby will know that if we'd given Ryan and King all week to practise their one on ones, they still would never have come away with a goal.

Jason, at his age, can't carry the front line for the whole season and we need someone quick who can put it in the net as I'm not convinced about Fairclough, Burrow or the Newsh (at this level).

Does Ricky Miller play in the UCL?  Given his nomadic career and our managers liking for bringing ex-players back to the club it wouldn't be that surprising if he came back would it?

He's the type of striker we need as from what I remember from his last spell he had pace, a good work rate and knew where the goal was,

Because the clever little Steve Evans thought he was a bit better than he actually was and he asked for pretty unreasonable terms.......
