Sounded grim on United Live, feel sorry for those who made the trip.

Out of the cup AGAIN to weaker opposition, again a chance to win some prize money thrown away. DN will be furious.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. We ALWAYS get knocked out of the FA Cup by shit teams. Next!

That sounds horrific. Thought we'd turned a corner. Hmm...

Season over  ;D

As predicted the cheap option has turned out to be a costly option.......

Shameful, utterly shameful.

just got in from a night out in Grantham!!  I really did not expect us to lose tonight, but its about what could have been expected after saturday's game.

this team is just not working and the managers have to take the blame. yet again  they and the players have let David Newton down big time.

what an opportunity missed again with a supposed easy tie next round. I just cannot believe this team have let us all down so badly.

the writing is on the wall after saturday's crowd. I'm sorry DN you got these appointments wrong. If you do not act this week the crowd will turn against the managers and will dwindle.

This is a bottom half table team --just look at the goals we have scored and check the last 12 games at the end of the season-- we dont want to be needing lots of points to get us out of trouble.

After the success of the last two seasons, how have we become such an ineffective and poor team. No confidence, no passion, cheap options.

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on that but we seem such an unaffective side.  For me it is getting like the Thompson era when all the ingredients were there and you so wanted us to do well with what we had, but something in the mix just didn't sit right making us a chore to watch and boring to boot.

After watching such a half hearted cup exit I don't know where to begin. Tonight's defeat has almost certainly shattered our hopes of breaking even this season. £11 K in prize money for beating Kidsgrove and Long Buckby, is that too much to expect? With this team? , Yes.
Kidsgrove fully deserved to win tonight because they were better than us. They wanted it more, and I do think Alan White promising a certain victory helped their manager with his team talk. Two down at half time (could have been four but for two great saves from Bazza). Second half we had plenty of possession but in 3 hours of football weren't able to score past a side that is two league's below us. Just not good enough!
So Kidsgrove is added to the list of shameful cup defeats.  I really don't know where this squad goes from here because I dread to think what would occur if we play a decent team.
We left to chants of Kidsgrove singing, "Blue Square North, you're having a laugh" and "Are you watching Alan White ?".  Pretty Accurate.
There was an incident at the end when a disgruntled fan called Jason over to discuss the game, though it turned out he wanted his diesel money back  ???
A bad night for the club, supporters, chairman, management and hopefully, the players .
Serious improvement is needed if this season is going to pick up.
