Good luck to him. After a shaky start to his time with us, he became dependable, often in an unfamiliar left back berth.

All the best Woody.

He was a player who needed encouraging, if some of the idiots in the crowd started on him he went to pieces.  Good luck to the lad.

I liked the lad, like others at this level he made mistakes but that's all part of the game. Good luck Chris i hope you have a great season.

Yet more mentions of Worksop coming up during the World Cup then!!  ;D

I heard two during the coverage of New Zealand's last game, once in the build up and once during the game! For those that don't know one of the "All Whites", Leo Bertos, played for us 4 years ago in the Conference North. This got referred to during BBC's coverage!

What do you guys think is Woody's best position? I always thought he was a central defender, but our press release states he can play anywhere across the back line.

And the way we've started the tournament, four years from now some of the current England squad will probably be playing for Worksop Town!

Come on, I think our new owner has higher standards than that! Maybe if we have a reserve team .... ;D
