Ithink I heared John Blackwell say that Marine can only facilitate supporters on three sides. Does anyone know if they will have enough space for the Boston following or will we have to take some with us.  :dan

Surely there will be 800 Pilgrims going at least?

Tis a long old haul, 500 tops
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Marine is a small ground, but I think car parking will present the bigger problem. The car park at the ground is tiny, and I finished up parking some distance away on the street last season. And that was for a midweek game with hardly anybody there!

Don't worry about the ground capacity. JB is off to Wickes this morning to buy some 4 x 2 to knock up a new grandstand.

What would we do without him

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, the capacity of Marine's ground is 2,800. I can't see us needing anywhere near that.

Wow, seems weird posting on here again! ... Going back to the capacity at Marine, I might be wrong but I have a feeling that supporters can only go on 2 sides of the stadium, either that or nobody decided to stand out in the open due to the rain when we played them last season!

Reading on their website, looks like we will be segragated, presume we will all be crammed in on one side of the stadium then if only 2 sides are open.

There are 3 areas - 1 is a neat little seated stand behind one goal, there's a mini-Spayne Road down one touchline and then open terracing behind the other goal.

Marine are admitting kids under 11 free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult...

... This could make things even more crowded.
