Now looks like we have plenty of cover in the middle of the park but we still look short of firepower and a centre half to play with Austin.

I haven't seen the kid from the reserves play yet but still think we need experience in that position with Austin with Ward as cover. I wasn't keen on Canners there in the unibond and he is a much better right back. We have replaced Murphy and Pearson with Austin so there is a gap there.

I guess the thinking with 4-3-3 is that Suarez or Stones is in the Drogba role at the head with the likes of Joachim, Newsh, Semple and Holsgrove fighting for wing position but I'm not sure that either of the aforementioned figureheads will cut it at this level but we shall see as I don't expect any additions there

Liam Parker hasn't done anything wrong in pre-season.

Agree with the need for a goalscorer I couldn't see anything wrong with our keeper last year tbf
