Fairclough isnt slow and where was the pace at the back last season??

Agreed - it was a problem last season as well, but Pearson and Murphy were quicker than Canners and Austin.  Jellyman is no slouch either, but our likely centre backs are Canners, Austin and Parker - no pace there and that will hurt us in some games

Ward has a decent turn of speed and showed as much at Gainsborough in the second half

I wouldn't say Canners has no pace

our new mascot was a poor choice-doesn't appear to be producing many Happy Feet on here. Thats a point, is a collection of Boston United supporters now called Happy Feet.
