If this is true then it could be a problem next year, I would have thought that the budget would have to be less than it is this year unless some one else makes up the shortfall.

If the club hasn't spent any of next years sponsorship money yet then it may not be too much of a problem, as long as it's not touched before the start of the next financial year.
