Player Spotting ?
« on: October 13, 2010, 08:35:38 PM »

Interesting to see amongst the very depleted crowd at Ashby Avenue a certain Paul Hurst last night
watching the Lincoln Utd v Stamford League Cup fixture. Now.... who had he come to watch ?

From what i've read on the Stamford forum,Rushden&Diamonds have also been scouting there.Speculation from the Stamford fans suggests they could be looking at Lee Beeson, along with defender Malone and midfielder Callum Reed. Can't see the managers bringing Beeson back.Malone,i know Stamford fans rate as highly as they did Shaun Pearson,Reed i don't know.Any thoughts on those latter two Sparks?.

I guess that's why a certain non league manager sponsored the Stamford matchball the other week!

Can't see it being Beeson myself unless he has improved since he was here. Looked ok in our friendly against them pre-season but nothing out of the ordinary, pretty much how he played for us. Callum Reed on the other hand was their best player in that game by some distance, think he played at full back against us but based on that one game he is the one player from Stamford I'd think could make the step up.

Hurst and Scott were in the crowd at the Walks last night to watch the match between Kings Lynn and Blackstones.
