Should be good, for those who can't make away games

At last, we've been needing a reserve team for ages, but I hope it doesn't impinge on our day-to-day running costs too much, we've still got to get our finances on a level footing.

Might give a chance to keep a couple more youth team players on each year

I think this is a good move and something that has been missing the last few years however if Welsh is not given the job as an extra to the youth team (wouldn't take up too much time) whoever is hopefully they will do it on a voluntary basis; maybe someone like Dick Creasey, or someone who could still be a player manager like Stanhope or Costello.
The playing squad should be youth team players, first team players not getting a game, coming back from injury and trialist - no specific reserve team players would be needed. A reserve team would have benefited players like Butcher last year.

This would have been perfect for players like Milly and Mark Camm last season coming back from injury

How big will the squad be? The games will be played at the same time. So you will have 16 players on first team duty surely you wont have another 13/14 playing for a reserve side on the books?

Shouldnt cost anything as its ameteur level only really referee and pitch costs to cover once a kit has been brought.

Mixture of first team squad members, youth team (who normally play Wednesdays), college team and trialists.. so I don't see why we'd need to extend the squad.

I would imagine we'll definitely be looking for a 2nd keeper now, though..

This looks a very weak league still - Louth Town Reserves etc however may be an excuse for a night out in Skeggy
