Even the best teams lose, no team has the divine right to win as a matter of right.

Luton are fancied to waltz through the Blue Square Premier but after a quick fire start they have been brought down to earth.

Its good that there is a match on Tuesday for the players to show their qualities and get a run going again and the management will have something to focus the players minds on for a good few games.

Bring on Tuesday

I have noticed that severay things the new management duo do are new and innovative to this level of football, some of the warm up routines for instance.

Coming from the professional game not too long ago it may be fair to assume that they are adopting some of the newer tried and tested approaches.

Taking into account where this club was in more recent times and what the outlook is now there is every optimism that the new guys have a good reason for everything they adopt and know what they are doing.

They get my vote.

Gotta disagree with the gunslinger, I thought that the pace of the game showed just how cumbersome Suarez is, not a lot of pace at all.

For me, Boston deserved the draw because they could have won the game twice over with the chances they had but Hucknall will argue that it was good goalkeeping and not poor finishing that kept the score down. In all honesty you could not really argue with that.

I wonder though if the management might consider that they got it slightly wrong today.

I would have thought that Camm, Davidson and Clarke were rested because of the frequency of games being played, they certainly weren't injured. But a certain amount of balance was reintroduced to the team when they all took to the pitch and an equaliser started to look all the more likely.

It WILL happen BG, football has a way of throwing these things up, sooner rather than later.

Wonder if there will be a crowd around him pre-match presenting him with bottles of champagne?  ???

The word in Conference circles is that his 10 match suspended touch line ban could be triggered after he spat his dummy out again last Saturday and was depatched to the broom cupboard.  :D

So if Gainsborough want him they might have to wait until after Christmas.

I seem to remember when we were promoted into the Conference it was said at a fans forum that the break even figure in that league was 2500, this was readjusted to 3500 when we were  in the footbal league.

Now I know full well that footballers forsake their normal wage just for the privilige of playing for THE SPECIAL ONE, as he likes to be known now, but with gates of less than a thousand the norm at Crawley they must be earning less than the National Minimum wage.

I reckon he will be linked with the Cambridge job over the weekend but claim  he loves  the Crawley folk that much that he cannot bear to leave them and anyhow, he hasn't finished the job he started yet - theyv'e still got a club left.  :-[
