Sadly,Deeping Pilgrim is right. If,or rather when it goes t*ts up at Crawley, there will be some chairman somewhere willing to take the risk.As someone else has already alluded too,the F.A. must take their share of the blame, the fraud should never have been allowed back into football in the first place. This whole publicity band wagon is making me sick.I could say more but it's difficult to type with clenched fists.

The problem is when we pay our entrance fee some people think that gives them the right to verbally abuse the players and managers at every opportunity, it doesn’t.

I disagree. I think people have every right to complain.  I don't think they should and I think it's a culture that needs to change but happily we live in a country where people are (supposedly) free to say what they feel.  With that power comes the responsibility to use it in the right way.

If I put in a truly shocking performance at work I'd expect to be chastised by the people who pay my wages.  In this case the wages are ultimately paid by the fans and the fans have a right to have a go.  They do need to realise what having a go does to the players morale and form but that is a different issue.
PoB-if you did put in a truly shocking performance at work then your employers might well "chastise"you. However,i expect you, like anyone in that situation, would wish to be treated with some respect.I would imagine a good employer would explain,in private, what you had done wrong, why it was wrong and what was expected of you in the future. You would not expect to be called F*cking rubbish by random members of the public,in public.

Nuneaton lost at home to Hyde tonight-i'm sure they would have taken our result. It wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination from a much changed team, but a wins a win.The one who got the mouthful from Rob Scott deserved every word.If you can't think of anything more constructive or intelligent than "what a load of fcuking rubbish"then i would suggest it's best to say nothing at all.

We all know we have our fair share of moaners at York Street, always have had.I find it incredible that so-called fans could abuse a player whilst receiving treatment, particularly a player as commited as Canners.I don,t know what RS said during interview, but i support the sentiment. However, that does not mean i support his view of going public every time he has a spat with the "fans".If Scotty is to make a career as a manager he will need to learn to bite his tongue sometimes.

For one game only at the weekend, before moving to Holland.
Thank God for that............not that anyone will beat Alfreton to the title anyway.

Yes,we were short of key players, but that should not hide the fact that for long periods of the game we were second best.It was a day when we couldn't even get the basics of passing the ball or even taking a throw in right. There was little creativity, and i'm struggling to remember us having a shot in the second half until we hit the bar in the last five minutes.Hugely disappointing performance.I have no problems with the result-Gloucester seemed to want it more than we did.It probably could have been worse considering we should have been one down from a penalty(and down to 10 men)within 3 minutes.
