They came in at a difficult time with our regular defence ripped apart through injury,it's not always easy to step into a side under those circumstances.Like everyone else i much prefer our regular defenders,but they did o.k.Thanks for your efforts lads,and best wishes for the future.

With the Gainsborough pair returning to their parent club i think we need to keep the three we still have.All three have done well and it would leave the squad very thin at a crucial time of the season were they to leave.

Alfreton are a very good side and showed it at times.I thought we were a bit off the pace first half but could have got back to 1-1 with a bit of luck.Second half performance was awesome though against a side of that quality.Some great individual performances as well,Shaun Pearson was immense as usual,and a special mention for Danny Sleath who i thought was excellent tonight.We'd be dangerous if we played for the whole 90 minutes.

Tigerroar,you can't defend the indefensible.Twice Gloucester have been here this season and twice we've had to watch a team intent on playing no football whatsoever.To be timewasting within the first five minutes is obscene.Mind you your goalkeeper is comedy gold.I don't know which was funnier,watching him lumber up for a corner just before the end or watching him trying to get back after we cleared it.He was blowing from every orifice...............still the quickest he moved all day though.

Exactly the same from Gloucester as we saw from them the last time they came.Push,pull,and time waste.Not our best by any stretch of the imagination,but a win's a win.Just pleased i don't have to watch Gloucester every week.

S&H's success here and at Ilkeston means it's inevitable there will be speculation every time a managers job comes up at BSP or League Two level.The time will no doubt come when they move on to bigger things-let's hope that time is still some way off.

Certainly our best home performance this side of Christmas.I thought we looked much more solid at the back and looked capable of scoring with almost every attack.We made a decent side look ordinary at times.
